The Manager, HR Systems is a position within the HR Systems organization in HR Shared Services delivering global solutions to our 24,000 employees in 58 countries. This position will analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities.

Job Description:

The Manager, HR Systems primarily supports ServiceNow case management, knowledgebase, HR portal, reporting and metrics, KPIs, SLAs and may be required for Oracle HCM module projects as needed.

This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional area and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

Perform day to day administration of the service delivery application (HR Case/Knowledgebase, Workflow automation and Employee Portal).

Lead the installation and testing ServiceNow development and production environments with latest security patches and software releases. Documents process and results.

Provides production support, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational support issues related to ServiceNow including interface with Oracle HCM/Operational Data Store (ODS).

Develop and modify ServiceNow workflow service configuration, forms record producers, lists & filters, business rules, UI components, web services, tables, menus, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, ACLs, UI Pages and Scripted REST APIs.

Develop and modify PPD’s HR Service Portal to include dashboards widgets and plugins.

Generates reports/queries, including writing maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Helps maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

Lead the HRIS team in managing the day-to-day activities to support the HR, Payroll and other inter-related functions. Foster and maintain positive relationships with HRIS constituents, including senior management, and the HRIS customer base.

Serve as an interface between internal/external customers and the functional team members to ensure effective definition of and delivery of HRIS applications. Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team resources, and their activities.

Build and maintain a strong functional HRIS Team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning. Prepare and participate in the preparation of staff development plans for each functional associate who is a member of the HRIS Team. Bachelor's degree in HR, Computer Science or related field or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

Previous experience in systems administration or management over a large service delivery application that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years’ experience) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

1 year supervisory experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Global experience preferred

Experience implementing ServiceNow processes and functions or similar incident management tool (Cherwell, Remedy)

Experience developing ServiceNow services and service portal pages

Experience with ServiceNow HR Service Management Delivery (HRSD) and related tools

Proficiency in ServiceNow portal widget technology

Integration experience with HRSM/HRIS system (Oracle)

Knowledge of related HR systems and functions

Web applications, networks, protocols and email (SMTP, POP3)

Must be able to work collaboratively across departments and geographic locations

Management

Supervise the daily operations of a unit or group of normally professional level individual contributors performing the same or similar tasks.
