Clinical Trial Nurse - Julatten/Cairns

IQVIA is looking for a casual Clinical Trial Nurse located in or near Julatten / Cairns QLD to visit a patient recently enrolled in a clinical trial assessing the efficacy and safety of X medication related to AATD and clinical evidence of pulmonary emphysema.

Administration of this medication will be via a weekly IV cannulation infusion for approx. 1.5 hours (2.5 including 1 hour of travel)

Training is provided and paid

Role of nurse during visit:

• Adverse event reporting
• Serious adverse event reporting
• Concomitant medication recording
• COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) exacerbation assessment
• Completion of the drug transportation and stability log
• Vitals
• Administering investigational product
• Visit report form (VRF) completion within 24 hours of the visit being conducted

Essential:

• RN (current registration)
• Current CPR
• Cannulation skills (must have recent skills – within last 6 months)
• Venepuncture skills (must have recent skills – within last 6 months)
• IM injection experience
• High attention to detail
• Prompt and good communication skills
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills
• Current/ full/ unrestricted driver’s licence
• IT proficient
• Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident

Desirable:

• Flexible with time and days
• Previous clinical trial experience
