Senior Biomarker Sample Operations Associate

Parexel is looking for a Senior Biomarker Sample Operations Associate to operationally deliver on client projects by working closely with client teams to ensure timely and smooth collection, transfer and testing of clinical trial biospecimens in compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and project timelines. This role is responsible or working with client teams to identify and complete agreed projects and tasks. In this position, you will drive innovation and continuous improvement with client activities in biospecimen collection, processing, and transfers while demonstrating the ability to carry out all biospecimen operations with minimal supervision.

QualificationsYour Skills: Client-focused approach to work Expertise in MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint Data management experience Advanced skills in Excel Excellent oral and written communication in English Organization, attention to detail and effective time management skills with an ability to adapt to changing priorities Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills Proficiency or working knowledge of LIMS (laboratory information management system) Critical thinking Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-based environment and work independently when needed Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Your Profile: Scientific background and knowledge of life sciences Sample handling experience. This might be from working in the pharmaceutical industry, a biorepository or a diagnostics lab, for example. Contributes to a positive and motivating work environment that encourages mutual respect, innovation, and accountability at all levels Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in scientific field or related discipline with 4+ years of project management, life science and/or clinical trial experience OR a Master’s Degree with 1+ year of project management, life science and/or clinical trial experience.
