Payroll Specialist - Temporary Position

Parexel has a temporary Payroll Specialist position available. This role will assist and provide support for a 6-month period while the department rolls out a project.

Key Accountabilities

  • Process the input/output of payroll changes applying all applicable payroll practices in a multi-state high volume environment.
  • Maintain employee data in the database.
  • Ad-hoc reporting including distribution of semi-monthly and monthly payroll reports to applicable departments.
  • Responsible for timely, accurate, complete payroll input.
  • Liaison with our internal HR, and Finance departments.
  • Responsible for compliance of payroll practices and policies.
  • Participate in projects as assigned.

Skills

  • Exceptional organizational skills which include an ability to multitask and be process oriented.
  • Must have self-directed proficiency in MS Office, specifically: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education

  • Minimum 3-5 years of Payroll processing experience in a Microsoft Windows and or web environment.

Language Skills

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
