  Job Summary

• Assist in the development and execution of digital signage strategy; managing the platform’s rollout and maintenance, working with internal clients to prepare and implement digital signage content and campaigns.

• As the in-house expert and point person for internal digital signage, own the platform and serve as the main point of contact for internal clients.

• Work with internal parties to manage the process of developing, approving and distributing content across multiple playlists around the world.

• Coordinate communications and serve as liaison for communications related to Charles River digital journey.

• In partnership with digital journey stakeholders, maintain editorial calendar and distribution of messaging related to the digital journey.

• Manage email distribution / Poppulo accounts for digital journey communications.

• Maintain a working knowledge of all company news and businesses to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information that meets business and corporate objectives.

• Manage multiple projects with specific deadlines, ensuring their timely completion.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned. Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in communications, marketing, journalism/English, advertising or related discipline.

• Experience: 0-1 years directly-related digital communications/platforms, including experience handling multiple projects.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

• Certification/Licensure: None

• Other: Working knowledge of events, social media and advertising procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience within a life science environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device company, hospital, laboratory) preferred.

The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards. The functions are essential to providing a bridge between strategic vision and operational readiness, to ensure ongoing functional innovation and capability improvement.
