In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking anAnimal Care Technician for ourAvian site located O'Fallon, MO. The Animal Care Tech will providegeneral care of poultry flock, including hatching of eggs, feeding, and egg collection.Perform required health testing, blood sampling, cloacal swabs, and fecal material sample collection. Assistwith general cleaning of production rooms and facility. Assist in completing weekly and monthly health reports and prepares associated documentation for clients and/or government and regulatory agencies.

The following are responsibilities related to theAnimal Care Technician:

• Assist with receipt and placement of birds.

• Feed and provide general care of birds.

• Move birds as needed.

• Perform general cleaning of facility, upkeep, and disinfecting of rooms.

• Perform inoculations and harvests as scheduled.

• Preparerecords, batch records,reports and other required documentation.

• Perform test calibrations when needed.

• Recycle chicken rooms, sterilize and decontaminate rooms.

• Respond to alarms as required.

• Perform basic grounds maintenance as required.

• Perform all other related duties as assigned

The following are minimum qualifications related to theAnimal Care Technicianposition:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).

• One(1) yearrelated experience and/or training: or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience.
