As a Biomarkers and Genomic Medicine Scientist II, you will combine your informed consent expertise with your interest in expanding your career in genetics and biomarkers and work alongside Parexel’s highly supportive and very collaborative Genomics Medicine team. It’s an incredible opportunity to progress professionally that also offers the flexibility to work from home!

A Biomarkers and Genomic Medicine Scientist II will: Demonstrate deep knowledge of scientific principles and concepts related to clinical trials, and responsible to operationally deliver client projects, where capability is used in delivering Biomarker and Genomic Medicine services. Readily applies company policies and procedures, and professional concepts to provide support for Biomarker and Genomic Medicine strategy. QualificationsKnowledge and Experience:

• Experience in pharmaceutical industry or CRO

• Experience with trial informed consent authoring and/or negotiations

• Experience with genetic and/or biomarker informed consent language authoring and/or negotiations desired

• Experience with Excel and/or other data manipulation tools

• Experience with data QC

• Knowledge of clinical trials and the drug development process

Skills:

• Strong analytic, problem solving and organizational skills

• Proficiency with desktop applications including MS Office; Experience with Spotfire desired

• Capability of handling confidential matters and data

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Collaborates effectively

• Excellent ability to balance operational priorities and projects under accelerated timelines

• Strong issue identification and resolution skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Clear and precise communication in English

Education:

• Educated to BA/BS degree level, with 5 or more years relevant experience
