Associate Director, HDSC Proposal Management

The Associate Director, Proposal Management plans, schedules, directs, controls, monitors, organizes, secures and manages resources to ensure appropriate information is reflected directly in proposals and contracts and customer expectations are achieved. The chosen candidate will work closely with IQVIA’s Sales, Solution Architects and proposal developers to prepare bids and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for IQVIA customers and prospects. The Associate Director, Proposal Management will direct, supervise and manage projects ensuring the quality of deliverables on time aligned to the proposed solution and strategy. The Associate Director, Proposal Management role is a dedicated pre-sales role to support winning new business opportunities.
Responsibility:
•    Participate in RFP development and sales/proposal presentations; evaluate feasibility of potential programs and impact on company operations and goals.
•    Manage the scope of work, objectives, timelines, quality of deliverables, and other project management activities for assigned proposal development and contracting 
•    Participate in bid defense strategy and planning, as appropriate.
•    Drive quality outputs and improve proposal, budgeting and contracting standards, and ensure compliance.
•    Serve as a project management liaison with other groups within IQVIA during proposal and contracting
•    May contribute to discussions on implementation of Contracts and Proposals strategy on a global basis and implement objectives as appropriate.
•    Help maintain and enhance content in the RFP response database, support consistency of brand and message across proposals and bids
•    May participate in customer meetings.

Requirements: 
•    Bachelor’s degree, experience with proposal development, budgeting or project management desired
•    Strong written and oral communication skills with a high attention to detail
•    Excellent organizational and time management skills
•    Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics
•    Strong influencing and negotiation skills
•    Good team leadership skills
•    Sound judgment and decision-making skills
•    Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
•    Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and understanding of costing models.
•    Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization
