Sr Dir, Vigilance Platform

This position will be responsible for driving the vision and direction of the IQVIA Vigilance Platform.  The Vigilance Platform initiative is the foundation of IQVIA’s technology strategy to transform the pharmacovigilance industry.  Assessing and understanding the rapidly changing pharmacovigilance and med tech safety markets as well as prioritizing the features to be included within the releases of the product will be a significant part of the responsibility.  Understanding and deriving the people, infrastructure, software, tools, etc. necessary to model, deliver, and manage a software program to budget is expected and required.  This position necessitates working jointly with the sales, product management, engineering, client implementation, support teams, and other matrixed organizations such as IQVIA’s DSSR group.  Ability to collaboratively pull internal stakeholders together and quickly gain consensus and direction will be key.  The Vigilance team operates in a globally distributed fashion so ability to negotiate time zones for calls and meetings is critically important.  Our target market spans EBPs to the largest multinational pharma and med tech customers travelling to meet globally with customers and prospects, speak at relevant global events and learn customer feedback will be expected.  It is also expected that this person will also be traveling to meet with global internal teams as well.
