The Contract Specialist's role is to create draft contractual documents using PAREXEL templates.
Key Accountabilities:Prepare draft contract documents, including Start-up Agreements, Work Orders and Change Orders, from PAREXEL templates Amend project budgets as requiredMay facilitate the negotiation of CDAs by preparing ,reviewing, and negotiating CDAs within CDA review guidelinesProvide quality client deliverables to strict deadlinesFacilitate review and approval in accordance with relevant policies and proceduresParticipate in contract review meetings with clients and internal customersReview client contractual templates and edit as appropriate to ensure PAREXEL’s positions are covered Ensure contracts with client edits received back from the client show all the appropriate changesEnsure contractual documents are processed into and maintained in relevant databasesParticipate in the development and testing of tools and proceduresQualificationsMinimum Work Experience:
• Knowledge of contract management principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Datab4ases).
Skills:
• Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Confident dealing with internal staff, and external if required
• Negotiation skills
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business, Languages or equivalent. MBA or Paralegal certification preferred.
Language Skills:
• Fluent in English, oral and written
