The following are responsibilities related to theAdmin Support Specialist 2:

Oversees and coordinates the daily administrative activities for the CMS facility within the customer's animal care program. Receive incoming animals, check all documentation and either deliver animals to the appropriate holding rooms or notify the appropriate person of their arrival i.e. animals placed into quarantine. Collect and ship all quarantine samples for processing. Sample collection is done via blood collection on rodents. Package animal products for transportation in accordance with applicable SOP’s. Utilize the database, disseminating information, creates spreadsheet and reports. Process and track orders, inventories, and prepares purchase requests to include simple justifications. Maintain facility SOP’s and ACUC specific files and protocols as directed.

The following are minimum qualifications related to theAdmin Support Specialist 2position:Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Experience: One to two years’ experience in an administrative role of the same/similar job duties. Government procurement and billing support experience are highly desired. Certification/Licensure: None
