Summary

The Sr. Biostatistician (Level I or Il) is responsible for planning, monitoring, organizing and reviewing activities of biostatisticians and programmers working on assigned studies of moderate complexity, ensuring individual studies are delivered on time, on budget to required quality.

The role Protocol input such as study design, sample size calculations and patient randomization schemesStatistical aspects of case report form designReviews study database structures, edit checks and data management coding conventionPreparation of statistical analysis plans including the definition of derived data, and the design of statistical tables, figures, and data listings for clinical summary reportsStatistical analysesInterpretation of data and reporting of resultsWriting of the statistical methods sections of integrated study reports

What you need M.S. or Ph.D. degree in statistics, biostatistics, or related field (required)Level I: 4+ years of relevant experience with M.S. OR 2+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D.Level II: 6+ years of relevant experience with M.S. OR 4+ years of relevant experience with Ph.D.​3 years or more experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills are requiredKnowledge in applied parametric and nonparametric statistics and SAS programming skillsShould be able to translate clients' needs into statistical practice and educate clients in the use of statisticsR or Bayesian is helpful, but not required
