PURPOSE

The Solution Manager position is a strategic role, focused on the building and delivery of external facing products and solutions. The role will be focused on supporting the growth agenda for the IQVIA Payer, Provider, Government business across EMEA. Our strategy comprises Lift & Shift, Acquisition and Partnering, and although this role will support all 3 areas, they will particularly focus on the Lift & Shift agenda.

They will work with cross-functional technical teams and clients to ensure cutting edge products are delivered to surpass client needs and expectations, in line with country PPG objectives. This will require the Solutions Manager to manage IT Delivery/Service within their respective product or service area, which may include product, process and/or people management, often serving as subject matter expert in respective field

Lift & Shift: 'lifting' an existing IQVIA PPG solution from one country and 'shifting' it to another.
PPG solutions needs to be localised to match the specific country healthcare needs and drivers - it's rarely as simple as just making it available, unlike some other industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive the Lift & Shift aspect of the EMEA PPG solution agenda

  • Establish and run EMEA PPG Solution team (Virtual cross team network) with members from across the EMEA PPG solutions teams
  • Qualify and extend existing list of solutions to focus on for Lift & Shift
  • Liaise with PPG business owners to plan priorities by country
  • Responsible for working with product owners to internationalise and localise solutions
  • Work with local PPG teams on the plan to roll out Lift & Shift solutions locally in target countries
  • Establish solution and/or product level plan for the requirements to Lift & Shift solutions
  • Input into regional PPG strategy
  • Help local country PPG strategy adoption and execution
  • Work closely with Solution Architect in the team to validate underlying technology and architecture

Supporting the Acquire and Partnering aspects of the EMEA PPG agenda

  • Support EMEA Head of PPG, wider P&SS (Provider & Site Solutions) team and local country PPG teams to identify and qualify acquisition targets to fit with local and regional PPG strategy
  • Support with identification and collaboration with potential PPG Partners at either regional or country level to help PPG business units increase sales, e.g. through access to PPG integration partners (SIs), through partner sales channel, access to tender frameworks or through adding partner capabilities to IQVIA portfolio

Client and opportunity engagement

  • Liaise directly with clients across PPG to understand their business challenges and imperatives in order to identify and deliver a suitable solution
  • Engage appropriate product owners and P&SS Solution Architect to ensure solution is available and deliverable
  • Focus more on standardising solutions for repeat business, rather than one-off solutions
  • Support EMEA Real World Late Phase (RWLP) technology solutions PPG sales + RBU PPG country teams with complex multi country / multi solution / Lift & Shift deals
  • Identify the need and play an active role in the support and development of marketing assets

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to devise and convey messaging, including value proposition to win and influence
  • Proven experience in transferring a solution from one geographical market to another
  • Expertise in the deployment, use, and adoption of health IT across hospitals at least one European country
  • Knowledge (desirable) of clinical study workflows, site roles (research-focused), goals, and common challenges
  • High-level understanding of data science and/or machine learning concepts, with the ability to convey to non-technical audiences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including good command of the English language – additional European languages are a bonus, but not essential
  • Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics, with good judgment and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience presenting to varying levels of leadership, with excellent fluency in PowerPoint to support presentation needs
  • Situational management and communication skills
  • Mastery of good habits of a manager: ability to self- direct, persevere, manage efficient meetings, communicate at the right time / right amount
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and business stakeholders
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures, including agile approach
  • Knowledge of project management concepts, deliverables-driven planning
  • Roadmap development

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree, Healthcare or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent
  • 7+ years relevant health IT industry experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working directly at or with provider sites
  • 5 years demonstratable experience in a business development role related to healthcare technology
  • Demonstrated experience with account management or customer success initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience with initiatives that included change management and adoption of technology
