About our team

The Linguamatics Test Team support the development of our market-leading Natural Language Processing (NLP)-based AI technology. As part of IQVIA’s Global Real World Solutions Technology unit, we apply our testing skills and domain knowledge to text mining applications used in drug discovery, development, clinical trial management and healthcare delivery.

The Test team are a highly talented ~15 strong team who strive to provide valuable insights. Respected as the key contributors to quality and product success, testers work across the entirety of Linguamatics’ business. Understanding that every unique experience adds to individual strengths, the team operate a highly flexible approach to testing which includes exploratory testing, checklists, test scripts, tools, automation and a license to test in a way that best suits the tasks at hand.

The culture within the Test team is a highly collaborative one, reflected in the frequent solicitation of peer review, ‘whiteboarding’ of ideas, retrospectives and other tools implemented in the spirit of continual innovation and improvement. The work we do is interesting, challenging, varied and a core part of the company’s success.

Linguamatics are well known within the local testing community, regularly hosting meetups and Lean Coffee events. This is all in addition to regular training and knowledge sharing. Testers are often seen at internal brown bag lunches, entering the weekly caption contest, or featured in articles for the company-wide newsletter, ‘Indefinite Articles’.

You’ll demonstrate the following:

It would be good if you have experience in any of the following:

• Familiarity with ontologies and data sources such as PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov
• Natural language processing
• Text mining
• Software development
• Exploratory testing
• Technical or customer support
