Power Platform Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

Design, develop, and maintain custom data-driven solutions, using cutting-edge Microsoft products like Power BI, Azure AI fundamentals as well as Power Platform.
Adapt recent research in NLP and deep learning to build modeling approaches that are robust, reusable, and automatic across data sources and tasks
Develop and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate components, with a focus on automating tasks and workflows
Troubleshoot and debug issues for Power Platform solutions
Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
Continuously improve the development process and assist with the implementation of best practices
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that meet their needs

Skills:

Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
Experience with integration of Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft technologies such as Databricks, SQL server and SharePoint online
Experience in low-code development and app building
Good understanding of database concepts and experience working with relational database technologies
Experience with CDS (Common Data Service) and ETL (Extract Transform Load) jobs
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, JavaScript, or C#
Background in NLP technology to enhance solutions using Jupyter Notebook, Streamlit and APIs
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
Very good communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members
Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Ability to work independently and take ownership of and responsibility for work assigned

Knowledge and Experience:

3 to 6 years work experience
In-depth understanding of Microsoft Power Platform
Strong understanding of cloud computing and Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of scientific computing packages such as NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas and Transformers
Experience developing custom business solutions
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork
English proficiency (written and verbal)
