Position Summary:
The Clinical Contracts Analyst I/II Vendor Contracts serves as a legal liaison for clinical contract requests such as, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Service Agreements, and Ancillary Agreements and acts as a conduit between Clinical Development Operations (CDO) and the Legal group.
Job Responsibilities:
Manages Vendor Contracts (such as lab agreements, imaging agreements, CRO agreements) for Global Trials:
- Processes contract requests and helps facilitate early execution through the Contract
- Management System
- Performs consistent quality audits of work output and documents knowledge base as needed
- Maintains accurate contract metrics on an ongoing basis
- Serves as primary contact for the Client during contract negotiation
- Ongoing interface with vendors, Buyer Managers and Legal regarding contractual issues during the lifetime of the contract
- Establishes and maintains direct vendor contact
- Manages and owns the contract process through its lifecycle from initial template stage to fully negotiated contract
- Responds to queries related to contracts
- Manages the contract escalation process to appropriate individuals, as needed
- Establishes good customer relations with vendors and internal stakeholders
- Is a conduit for contract requests to the Client Legal team from initial contract request through execution
Vendor Payment Activities:
- Review, verify and reconcile invoices. Ensure invoices are entered timely, accurately and are paid in accordance with vendor negotiated terms.
- Perform a match of invoices, receiving paperwork, and purchase orders.
- Process non-PO invoices by verifying receipts, supporting documentation, and appropriate approvals in accordance with established delegation of authority matrix.
- Assist with reconciling vendor statements and resolve accounts payable issues with vendors.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research/resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Processes all clinical contract requests and helps facilitate early execution through the Contract Management System

- Serves as primary contact for the Client during contract negotiation
- Ongoing interface with sites and vendors regarding contractual issues during the lifetime of the contract
- Establishes and maintains direct site and vendor contact
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working in a biotech or CRO, finance and/or legal environment, preferably in vendor contracts or site contracts
- Experience negotiating contract terms and invoice processing
- Intermediate Excel and database management skills
