Request for Information Department

The Global Business Operations (GBO) Request for Information (RFI) Department play a pivotal role in providing information on IQVIA’s capabilities and services across the globe focused on three main tenets of providing accurate information that is reproducible and provides a competitive advantage for IQVIA. The RFI Department are experts in collating data from across the whole of the IQVIA Human Data Sciences infrastructure to answer stakeholder questions in a wide range of formats. The RFI Department are experts in translating stakeholder questions and developing customer facing responses from simple questionnaires and eSourcing tool responses through to creating white papers and preferred provider responses to showcase the global capabilities of IQVIA.

Purpose

Prepare comprehensive, timely and accurate responses to stakeholders' requests for information to support global sales teams and other internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Research, organize and write corporate capabilities and experience documents for proposals, sales initiatives and customer questionnaires
• Coordinate the inputs of multiple sources and prepare formal replies to customers' global outsourcing and preferred provider request for information (RFIs)
• Serve as the principal responder to internal and external requests for information
• Contribute to improvement initiatives for RFI information storage and retrieval systems
• Maintain currency in applicable company management and research databases
• Perform company, industry, and competitor research as required
• Participate in the development and maintenance of department information sources, templates, and related materials
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of CRO, Pharmaceutical or related industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Strong writing and editing abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and stakeholders

Minimum Required Education and Experience

• Degree in Life Science, Business Management, Finance, IT or related field
• At least 3 year work experience in Proposal and/or Contract Management, Marketing, Finance, IT, Business Management / Development or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Physical Requirements
• Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech
• Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers
