Reporting to the Global Head Parexel HEOR COA this role offers a unique opportunity to support our team of clinical outcomes assessment (COA) scientists in the evaluation of psychometric evaluation of tests and outcomes assessment with patient input. The existing team includes psychologists and biological scientists with a broad range of experience in industry, academia and clinical practice.

We are currently seeking to find a Senior Associate, Clinical Outcomes Assessment to be office or home based out of one of our EU/UK locations. You will be responsible for projects on qualitative coding, instrument designs, patient preference designs including discrete choice experiment analyses and provide strategic input and advice to our internal team and clients.

Key responsibilities: Support qualitative analyses using ATLAS.TI, psychometric COA validation analyses, patient preference and DCE projects Design, conduct, and analyse qualitative or quantitative psychometric as well as health-related discrete choice experiments to assess user preferences. Advocate behavioural science methods more broadly across the Parexel and clients and generalize learnings into a framework that can help bring behavioral science to scale. Develop proposals and study protocols that include elements of experimental design. QualificationsQualifications: Minimum MSc, PhD preferred in a relevant discipline (e.g. Psychology, Statistics, Outcomes Research). Fluent in vocal and written English. Ideally a recognized or up and coming expert in the field of qualitative research, psychometrics, DCE, demonstrated through publication records, involvement in relevant special interest groups (e.g. ISPOR, ISOQOL). 2- 3 years’ experience in psychometrics, advanced analytics and DCE analyses as established by publication records. Strong quantitative research skills, with demonstrated technical expertise in DCE modelling and ideally also knowledge of classical psychometric analyses as well as modern analyses. Strong scientific and regulatory knowledge of relevant guidelines.
