We are currently looking for a Junior Recruiter to join our team on a contractual basis.

Reporting to the Recruiting Manager, the junior recruiter’s role will be to maintain a high standard of candidate and manager relations, and the execution of a pro-active recruitment strategy to fulfill the organization’s current and future needs. From the initial hiring manager discovery meeting through effective sourcing to offer negotiation, the junior recruiter efficiently and effectively fills open positions with quality candidates who embrace the company’s culture.

We are currently looking for a Junior recruiter to join our Senneville and Laval team.

Recruiter Job Duties: Assist in the development of recruiting plans in collaboration with the senior management team; Lead the creation of a recruiting plan for each open position; Review and evaluate applicants’ qualifications, while managing the HR system; Conduct phone screening; Book managers and candidates face-to-face interview meetings; Conduct regular follow-ups with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, and help identify qualified candidates for the various open opportunities; Coordinate the different steps in the recruitment process (from posting to hire); Post new positions on job portals, social media and other relevant platforms; Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates; Demonstrate the ability and drive to continually explore/test/maximize sourcing strategies, by using effective and innovative strategies to fill positions on a long-term basis; Conduct “cold calls” for sourcing candidates; Coordinate and implement college/university recruiting initiatives, as well as attend career fairs; Help in new employees’ orientations; Prepare offer packages (files, orientation package, offer letters); Contribute to other projects as assigned.

Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred or DEC with 1-2 years of recruiting experience; Excellent oral and written communication (French and English) and interpersonal skills; Ability to work with various departments and promote teamwork; Ability to work independently; Dynamic, organized and able to set priorities; Sense of urgency and dedication to goals and deadlines; Proficient in Microsoft office and Outlook; Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of recruiting/human resources work; Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; Flexibility to work on different work schedules as required to meet the demands of a recruiting deadlines.
