Director of Brand Marketing  

IQVIA Technologies is seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Brand Marketing to manage the evolution and execution of brand positioning, messaging, personality and visual identity for the technologies brand within IQVIA. The Director of Brand Marketing will work closely with the Head of Marketing to create and execute marketing programs (campaigns, communications and events) to increase brand awareness, visibility and market preference working across multiple business units, geographies, channels, agencies and teams. 

The individual in this role must be a strategic thinker and have deep writing skills to create and revise messaging architectures, narratives and key messages across various business units and personas. A true storyteller at heart, the Director of Brand Marketing will drive narratives deep into the business, operationalizing the brand from top level stories to solutions and proof points that could be expressed throughout campaign concepts. The Director of Brand Marketing will be responsible for the overall health of the brand, ensuring market relevancy and awareness worldwide. This role will be accountable for brand stewardship and drive internal evangelism and training efforts.  The Director of Brand Marketing will require proven brand marketing experience and the ability to manage numerous vendors on schedule and in budget.  The ideal candidate will understand technology and have prior experience working within the life sciences/healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop brand narratives, key messages and proof points

  • Drive messaging end to end from top level story to technology solutions

  • Monitor and analyze competitive brand positioning

  • Develop strategy for integrated brand marketing campaigns (including advertising, social and digital media, internal communications)

  • Maintain brand guidelines including messages, tone, visuals, and iconography

  • Develop and define brand naming guidelines across programs and product lines

  • Educate and evangelize the brand both internally and externally

  • Develop client facing presentations & content

Skills Requirements

  • BA – College Degree,  MBA preferred but not required

  • Superior written and oral communication skills with emphasis on long form content & messaging

  • Must have experience creating client presentations and corporate narratives

  • Expertise in branding principles and best practices, with demonstrated ability to develop brand narratives and competitive positioning

  • 12+ years marketing experience with preference in B2B across technology segment and/or life sciences/healthcare industry

  • Fluency in PowerPoint and Excel with strong leadership and project management skills

  • Experience developing and executing brand campaigns including print, broadcast and digital and social advertising
