Casual Registered Nurse - Cairns

IQVIA is looking to hire a Casual Registered Nurse in Cairns, QLD

You will be required to administer a 3, 4 or 6 monthly intramuscular injection to patients in their own home.

These patients are living with prostate cancer.

This position is perfect for any RN looking to take on additional work in community Nursing.

Training will be provided by IQVIA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medication to patients that have been prescribed and enrolled on the program
• Liaise with the patients to coordinate suitable date and time for in-home visits
• Use approved tools/resources to perform program related activities
• Be 100% compliant with all program training required
• Complete the PIRF within 24 hours after each injection service within
• Proactively advise of availability to perform the above tasks one month in advance
• Work closely with the Nurse Team so share feedback and experiences with HCPs and Patients
• Work with IQVIA nominated employees to support the program as and when required

Essential:

• RN (Current Registration)
• IM injection experience
• Oncology experience
• IT Proficient
• Flexible with time and days

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in Prostate Cancer
