Job Overview
Our growing organization is looking for a strong Senior Accountant to manage the revenue accounting needs for the Central Labs our business unit. This individual will work among business unit specific teams as well as the regional and global accounting and finance organization. The ideal candidate will not only prepare, analyze, and report financial information, but will provide key revenue analysis to accounting and finance leadership.

Essential Functions
• Ownership of the revenue month-end close process for the Central Labs business unit of Q2 Solutions including the recording all revenue activities
• Act as contact person for external audits for revenue related requests. Ensure that all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained in preparation for independent audits.
• As needed, assist with any customer invoicing or vendor payment issues.
• Where applicable, ensure appropriate communication with all business partners and support business partners in financial decisions, if required.
• Review the financial systems, processes, and procedures on an ongoing basis for further development of efficiencies
• Manage timely completion of detailed account reconciliation and follow-up / resolve open items for specified tasks.
• Participate in or manage Accounting/Finance related projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance modules.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical accounting skills.
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
