Business Systems Analyst Director

Essential Functions

• Own the maturation, ongoing improvement, and implementation of the tools and techniques of contemporary requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, and management practices.
• Manage the Global Business Analyst Virtual Community as the medium to disseminate 1) Organizational Information (talent acquisition and resource management, engagement model, governance framework), 2) Standard Practices and Tools (methodology, knowledge management, quality control, and the BA Toolkit), and 3) BA Development (performance management, team community and culture, mentoring, and competency model).
• Must work with other leaders across the organization to deliver relevant BA upskilling curriculum as part of the Virtual Community.
• Ensure the consistency of BA deliverables such as executive summaries, high level business requirements, user stories, business process flows, and functional requirements.
• Advance the vision, goals, and objectives for the business analysis capability and ensure stakeholder alignment on priorities, implementation, and management.
• Responsible for oversight and governance activities for strategic R&DS programs to ensure consistent tools and techniques are being used by Business Analysts supporting those programs.
• Bring new thinking into the team and be able to define, validate, and oversee development of operational metrics based on business rules.
• Put in place the initiatives and capabilities that allow for the use of latest techniques and tools along with structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Stay on the leading edge of analysis, facilitation, and problem-solving techniques by proactively bringing best in class capabilities within IQVIA. This requires not only making a case for change, but also managing the change itself.
• Provide appropriate and effective mentoring, coaching, and feedback to Business Analyst Line Managers.
• Develop metrics and reporting to measure team performance across the Business Analyst discipline.

Qualifications:

• BA in a relevant discipline with strong academic record, 12+ years of total experience in a business analyst, process engineer, or project management role or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working in Oracle Cloud preferred
• Experience with healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
• Written and verbal communicate, including technical writing skills
• Understanding of systems engineering concepts
• Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
• Proven documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent change and process management skills
• Experience with Agile SCRUM (Jira/Confluence) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Creative energy and a sense of humor•Experience working with a global development team a plus
