Job Summary The individual in this role will be responsible for all shipping and receving operations within the site.  This role requires attention to detail and ability to communicate with a wide variety of people.  This is a fast paced environment.  Teamwork and multi-tasking are essential. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Receive and distribute shipments according to established procedures Maintain dock and storage areas in an orderly fashion Prepare, maintain and distribute appropriate documentation for all materials shipped or received Assist in maintaining inventory of all laboratory supplies and consumables Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance and service for laboratory equipment Assist in updating Equipment database as maintenance is performed for laboratory equipment Conduct monthly safety inspections of general office space and laboratory areas, as necessary Coordinate and perform courier pick-ups/deliveries relative to study needs as necessary Package materials according to IATA dangerous goods regulations Coordinate waste pickups from various departments Job Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 0 years related experience Associate’s Degree with 2+ years related experience High School Diploma with 4-6 years related experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure:  Valid driver’s license. Other:   Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities; attention to detail, computer literacy; and the ability to interact appropriately with all levels of employees.
