IMPORTANT:   In order to be considered for this position, a resume/CV must be uploaded and submitted during the application process.  Please make sure work history and education are added correctly.    Job Summary This position supports multiple Strategic Marketing teams in the development, deployment and management of external marketing campaigns designed to generate and nurture leads, and promote the company’s products and services. These multi-touch marketing programs use owned and paid marketing channels - primarily focused on email and social media promotion. In our Agile marketing environment, this role collaborates with the portfolio marketing, marketing operations, client engagement and sales team members, and reports to the Marketing Automation Manager.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   Assist with and actively manage the implementation of marketing communications and lead nurturing programs. Duties include: Collaborate with the business’ strategic teams to produce best-in-class digital marketing programs that leverage email and social media tactics. Ensure that all campaign activations are planned, set up in their respective platform, managed, and optimized according to the defined strategy and development processes. Manage database and audience segmentation for effective campaign targeting and retargeting. Manage campaign performance ensuring desired KPIs are achieved, and report results back to key stakeholders.  Leverage and share best practices with team members to streamline the process to activate and manage digital marketing programs across email and social channels. Maintain ongoing dialogue with strategic teams to review campaign strategies and tactics. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

  Job Qualifications

•    Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in communications, marketing, journalism/English, advertising, or related discipline.

•    Experience:   2-4 years of hands-on experience with digital marketing, marketing automation and social media marketing, including managing multiple projects at once.

•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

•    Certification/Licensure:  None.

•    Other:   Experience with a combination of the following Marketing Automation and Social Media Management platforms preferred: Pardot, Eloqua, Marketo, Hubspot, SproutSocial, HootSuite and SalesForce. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience within a life science environment (e.g., biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device company, hospital, lab) highly preferred. Knowledge of HTML code is plus.
