The Regional Director (RD) will be responsible for achieving client corporate and regional sales objectives by hiring, leading and developing a sales team within a specific geography.  He/she will be accountable for maintaining compliance with all IQVIA and client policies that govern field sales activity.

Education, Experience, & Other Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four-year accredited college or university
  • 5+ year of proven, documented, consistent, and successful track record in the pharmaceutical industry required:
    • 2+ years as a pharmaceutical sales representative required
    • 1+ years as a pharmaceutical sales manager required
    • Experience recruiting and selecting new hires required
    • Participation in a leadership development program and/or experience such as a corporate office rotation, marketing, sales training, or sales ops preferred
  • Extensive travel required
  • May be required to work evenings and weekends as needed (conferences, programs, etc.)
  • Majority of time is working with reps in the field. No office is provided by the company
  • Must live within the current geography or willing to relocate to it
  • Must produce documented sales results and examples of company awards
