Executive Director, Lab Information Management System Modernization

<p>We are seeking an Executive Director to lead our Lab Information Management System (LIMS) Modernization initiative. This role is responsible for leading the LIMS Modernization team in the research and comprehensive understanding of the needs and values of the application's end users and business stakeholders. This person will develop and implement business-focused product processes and policies, and work with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop product capabilities driven by the voice of end users and business needs analyses. Ultimately, this position is accountable for ensuring that the investment in the new LIMS application and associated technology provides differentiating capabilities and operational value for Labcorp, now and into the future. The Executive Director of LIMS Modernization will report to the Vice President of Digital Business Transformation & Strategy.</p> <p>This position is currently remote but will eventually be a hybrid or on-site role based in Durham, NC or Burlington, NC.</p> <p>Primary responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li style="margin-left: 0.75in;"><span style="font: 7.0pt "Times New Roman";"> </span>Driving transformation strategy and holding peers accountable to the vision</li> <li style="margin-left: 0.75in;"><span style="font: 7.0pt "Times New Roman";"> </span>Conducting research to gain insight and understanding into end-user needs and areas for technology-enabled process optimization</li> <li style="margin-left: 0.75in;"><span style="font: 7.0pt "Times New Roman";"> </span>Partnering with business stakeholders and senior company leadership to identify and align on greatest opportunities for value creation</li> <li style="margin-left: 0.75in;"><span style="font: 7.0pt "Times New Roman";"> </span>Partnering with various product managers for different product lines to align roadmaps to ensure business continuity</li> <li style="margin-left: 0.75in;"><span style="font: 7.0pt "Times New Roman";"> </span>Establishing business case and determine investment requirements to achieve strategic objectives;
