This position provides scientific guidance and focus within project teams and across functional areas across the organization with an emphasis on providing scientific and innovative advice for Cell and Gene Therapy development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Track record of successful management of CGT development (cell therapy or AAV preferred) Ability to engage with customers and build long-lasting and trust based relationships Ability to independently manage a portfolio of clients and internal stakeholders across business units Improve customer satisfaction and awareness of overall offering (surveys, direct feedback, NPS) Increase project volume across CRL businesses, on same asset and for different assets Accelerate asset development Job Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: Education: PhD preferred Experience: Technical background with 5+ years of work experience in the pharmaceutical services business or in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Certification/Licensure: None Other: Must possess excellent management and communication skills and have the ability to lead a multi-disciplinary department. Must have solid understanding of cGMP.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must regularly operate a computer and occasionally operate other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Must regularly communicate with employees/customers; must be able to exchange accurate information. Must occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: General office working conditions; the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

COMMENTS: Regular domestic and international travel required.
