We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our team located in Laval.

Work schedule and salary:    Relocation assistance (if required) Annual bonus based on performance Annual salary based on experience Permanent full-time position, 37.5 hours per week Schedule: Daytime Monday to Friday - Mostly remote position  What you will be working on 

You will be required to manage and maintain healthy and good relations with suppliers, enter and update data received from vendor and follow-up on orders with vendors. Finally, you will be called to review the requisition and convert to purchase order (PO). 

What kind of person are we looking for? 

We are looking for candidates with a collegial degree or diploma in administration or in a related field. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in computer such as Excel and Word, excellent negotiation skills, good ability to work under pressure, and good communication skills. This candidate must also have an excellent understanding of French and English (oral and written).

About Safety Assessment

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market.  Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
