  Job Summary We are seeking a Supervisor- Facilities/Electrical for our Facilities department at our Mattawan, MI location.

 

The Supervisor - Facilities/Electrical will coordinate and supervise the work of employees in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

Responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems. Perform the work of employees and other duties as required.

  Provide direct daily supervision and inspect work of assigned employees to ensure completeness.  Schedule and prioritize work assignments of group members. Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfer equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary. Coordinate, monitor, manage automated building management systems, ensuring compliance documentation for any deviations is entered/filled in appropriate system. Oversee general repairs such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, hanging shelves and landscaping. Ensure department captures work performed withing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Manage / use CMMS system data and report out on performance of departments . Job Qualifications

  High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.). Six to eight years related experience in general building maintenance with mechanical and construction background. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Current, valid motor vehicle operator’s license required. Valid license in at least one trade is preferred (electrical, plumbing, HVAC). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision , distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
