Our Nurse teams

Delivering high-quality infusion therapies or administration of injections to patients in their homes requires highly skilled nurses to operate as a vital part of the clinical care team. Depending on the program, our nurses educate patients and family members, explain the medication regimen and infusion devices, all while coaching, answering questions, and encouraging patient uptake and compliance. Our nurses appreciate the patient focus, the flexibility and the autonomy of their work.

The role

We are currently seeking a proactive and highly motivated Registered Nurse to join this Clinical Trial. The patient is located in Urangan QLD.

In this exciting and diverse position your duties will include:

  • Visit the patient in their home 3 weekly to collect blood or administer a sub cut injection
  • Collect and process blood samples (Centrifuge provided)
  • Adverse event recording
  • Concomitant medication recording
  • Completion of the drug transportation and stability log
  • Vital Signs
  • Photography of injection site with shipping of memory card to site (only required if there is a reaction at the site – camera provided)
  • Visit report form (VRF) completion within 24 hours of the visit being conducted

Essential Skills Required:

  • RN (Current Registration)
  • Current CPR and Police Check or willing to obtain these documents
  • Competent in taking blood, venepuncture skills (must have recent skills – within last 6 months)
  • High attention to detail
  • Prompt and good communication skills
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills
  • Current/ full/ unrestricted driver's licence
  • IT Proficient
