Lead Programmer (Spotfire)

<h2>Job Overview:</h2><ul><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Establish Spotfire development processes at Morphosys to assist internal colleagues to perform effective data review  </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Build a Spotfire training plan and curriculum, development and maintain training material, and provide Spotfire training to users</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Review any Spotfire systems-related requirements</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Collaborate with IT and QA to validate and keep the Spotfire environment up to date with latest releases </span></li><li><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Engage with internal colleagues (e.g. Clinical Trial Teams, Global Program Teams, and line function representatives etc.) to help designing visualizations to address business questions</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Create templates/visualizations based on business needs and user requirement specifications of Clinical Trial Teams, Global Program Teams, and line function representatives</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Support users by maintaining visualizations up to date i.e. re loading of new/updated data and trouble-shooting</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Systematically sample / monitor utilization of reports and tools. Perform and coordinate periodic review of outputs. Report findings and take necessary steps to ensure reports are being used for data review</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt 0.5in;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Manage Spotfire licenses and accounts. Approve user accounts, monitor account utilization, and ensure account deactivation where appropriate. Align on license needs with line function heads, and provide annual license cost forecast to budget owner. </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Develop and maintain Spotfire documentation including Operational Manual in collaboration with IT </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Program study specific custom reports/listings using SQL, PL/SQL, C#, VB script, SAS, Python, R</span></li></ul><h2>Education/Qualifications:</h2><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent academics</span></p><h2>Experience:</h2><ul><li><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Advanced experience (6+ years) with Spotfire in pharmaceutical industry preferably working with Research and Development/R&D/Development Operations functions (Drug Safety, Biometrics, Clinical Operations, Clinical Data Management)</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Familiar with the data formats/standards like; SAS, XPTs, CDISC, SDTMs</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Familiar with the following vocabularies/coding systems: MedDRA, WHO DD, LOINC, ATC</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Experience in predictive modeling and machine learning </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Experience with programming languages, such as PL/SQL, SAS, C#, HTML, or VB preferred.</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> End to end knowledge of Spotfire architecture and different environments with the database like e.g. DEV, TEST, PROD </span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Knowledge of Spotfire integration with other technologies is an added advantage</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Ability to integrate different data sources (Ex: OC/RDC, RAVE, CTMS and LSH etc)</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Strong presentation and communication skills</span></li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"> Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment</span></li></ul>
