  Job Summary Responsible for global NHP distribution. Works closely with global CRL Safety Assessment (SA) sites on forecasting demand and ensuring supply to meet demand. Extensive communication with Safety Assessment site leadership including Site Directors, Client Services and scheduling personnel.  Ensures compliance with applicable regulatory agencies and governing bodies including CDC, USDA, USFWS and CFIA relative to the distribution of post-quarantine NHPs.  Responsible management of NHP Logistics department workforce. Ensures strategic clients and studies are supplied with NHPs to meet client forecasts including facilitating proposals, contract management and inventory management as it relates to contract fulfillment.

Responsibilities include: Primary client-facing representative of the NHP business Oversee all client-owned, client reserved colonies Supports inventory analysis process Oversee exportation of NHP’s from all sites where conditioned NHPS are quarantined and / or housed for distribution to global Safety Assessment sites Supervise the following functions of the NHP Logistics team and team members Job Qualifications Education:   Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in life science or related discipline.

Experience:   5-10 years related experience with non-human primate inventory management, quarantine and holding.  Ten (10) years’ experience supporting high revenue business-to-business customer relationships.  Five (5) years of experience in pre-clinical pharmaceutical development. Experience working with international clients and vendors preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Other:   Must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, high sense of urgency and prioritization. Able to lead complex business discussions and negotiations with key decision makers using excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Enos.

 

Requires domestic and international travel.  Must have a negative tuberculin skin test.
