Multiple Locations

Leads scientific, technical and business development aspects with Third Party Laboratories. Consults extensively with Business Development and Clients as well as other internal departments on new business timelines, technical and compliance issues, and project-related matters. Works closely with the director in strategic planning, business development, and expansion initiatives.

l Interacts extensively with business development directors, and prepares and determines quotation, pricing, project initiation and scheduling as it relates to scientific and technical capabilities of the Third Party laboratory operations.

l Participates in strategic planning, capabilities development, prepares projections, revenue tracking, and other financial-related issues.

l With management, initiates and implements plans to develop and improve processes for greater efficiency, productivity, and quality.

l Oversees and coordinates projects in China.

l Works with QA department in improving Third Party laboratory quality.

l Participates in client, QA, facility, and project audits and prepares responses to audits as needed.

l Completes technical and scientific related special projects.

Education and Experience:

l Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

l Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5 years’) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

l Knowledge of preparation of SOP’s, protocols and other technical documents

l Strong attention to detail

l Strong written and verbal communication skills

Location: Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, Singapore (need travel to China)

Education and Experience:

l Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
