We are seeking a ManagerVirology, with a focus on Routine Testing, for our PA-Biologics Testing Solutions sites in Wayne, PA.

Under direct supervision, the position will be responsible for the management of a team dedicated to routine testing performance as it pertains

to the Virology laboratory. The position will provide operational supervision, technical support and professional and scientific expertise,

as needed, to ensure operational excellence.

The following are responsibilities related to the Manager Virology:

• Ensure on-time delivery of all client projects.

• Oversee the performance and qualification of assays that meet industry expectations and current regulatory guidelines. As a Virology Subject

Matter Expert, provide guidance for resolution of technical problems affecting Virology assays.

• Participate in client calls to support work related to routine testing. Manage activities of assigned group(s) to ensure optimum performance

of the group/function.

• Participate in and support cross-functional communication and laboratory activities, as necessary, especially as it relates to scheduling and

virus production. Liaise with the Virology Scientific Support team to allow for successful transition of newly developed methods into routine testing.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Manager Virology:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biology or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years related laboratory experience in Virology or related field. Minimum 4-5 years of previous supervisory

experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the

specific education and experience listed above.

• Certification/Licensure: None.

• Other: Demonstrated leadership skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of cGMPs or regulatory requirements pertaining

to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries required.
