Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare robust business planning through accurate budgeting/forecasting Assist the preparation of financial plans to understand the drivers of revenues and costs Conduct monthly variance analyses Identify & lead process improvement Dynamic business partner who leverages relationships to drive financial planning Work with Controllership/Finance Shared Services to review and ensure the accuracy of financial reports Continuously seek new ways to leverage business data to offer fresh insights and aid decision making Conduct advanced financial analyses to support ad-hoc requests utilizing complex scenario planning Translate business strategies, initiatives and projects effectively into financial modeling Oversee and mentor Financial Analysts Other duties as assigned Education/Qualifications:BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field. 4+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance Experience:Strong networking, team working and relationship management skills Strong business acumen; understands business implications of decisions Strong problem solving skills and sound judgement Supports and explains reasoning for decisions/recommendations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to perform advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint Proven ability to work independently Experience in a matrixed, multi-site, multinational environment strongly preferred Previous FP&A or corporate finance experience strongly preferred Experience in life sciences industry strongly preferred Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Essbase is strongly preferred
