PURPOSE

Manages the Consumer Marketing Team for activities with an assigned channel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop comprehensive strategic plans for increasing trial enrollment via marketing partnerships.
  • Recommend and implement promotional strategies to achieve goals; part of the decision-making team to determine the optimal marketing partner vendor selection based on each study’s inclusion/exclusion criteria.
  • Develop and oversee budget, ensuring that financial parameters are maintained
  • Track and analyze variances from budget; assist with development of new or modified strategies as needed to recover from unfavorable budget variances and/or to respond to market opportunities
  • Establish vendor strategy, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for service.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities with Patient Advocacy Groups, Biomarker Vendors, and Online Health Communities.  
  • Manage outreach to potential partners and complete onboarding activities including all partnership legal requirements. 
  • Establish procedures that ensure expediated partnership launches for studies and monitor performance.
  • Optimize partnership campaigns throughout the life of the study.
  • Develop and maintain product/program/service knowledge and regularly reviews product line for market needs and financial goals.
  • Develop SOPs, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and/or work instructions for vendor management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience
  • International/global experience preferred but not essential
  • Experience with strategy and execution of marketing partnership campaigns
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Excellent analytic, quantitative and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to influence others at all levels of an organization and external customers.
  • A Bachelor’s degree would be a plus
