JOB DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze HR data, systems and processes under general supervision.
• Responsible for creating, collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting on HR processes and data in the Workday HCM and HR systems.
• Design standard and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, calculated fields and other advanced reports in Workday.
• Create and retrieve employee data like Headcount, terminations, hires, Transfers, absence/time off and other types for reporting and analysis from Workday.
• Collaborate with HR and Stakeholders to define business requirements, develop custom reports and build appropriate reporting and metrics
• Help monitor the effectiveness of reporting solutions, modify current reports, or operationalize new reports/methods as needed
• Work with business partners, support team experts to document report requirements, design, develop and deliver reports, ensuring alignment across deliverables, and adherence to overall global reporting strategy
• Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades.
• Utilize Visier Analytics tool to deliver ongoing and ad-hoc analysis
• Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively facilitate ongoing monitoring of metrics using Visier
• Analytical expertise around data retrieval, manipulation and data transformation from large and complex data sets to refine insights, further turn this data into unified, well-informed recommendations using creative and analytical thinking
• Develop a deep understand of organizational data to ensure a basis for sound insights
• Incorporate data, measures and metrics from HR, Finance, and other functional partners to align workforce reporting where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for data protection in respect to content, security and access of information contained within reports and reporting databases.
• Assist with various special projects within the team.
• Demonstrates extensive knowledge to troubleshoot and fix issues related to the Workday modules and related integrations
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5-7 years of Workday report development experience & HR operational role experience in a global organization
• Knowledge of database maintenance basic concepts.
• People Analytical skills with ability to identify, troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, macros a plus)
• Ability to interact with HR and business representatives regarding their reporting requests, answer questions, and explain data as required
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and act as the first line of support to all analytical queries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively communicate ideas (via written & verbal communication)
• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and support change activities
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
• Must be flexible to work in shifts
