We are recruiting for a Manager, Advanced Analytics, HEOR and RWE to be homebased in Europe. The purpose of the role is to lead the development of data visualization tools and conduct statistical analysis to understand the economic value of clients’ products and interventions. This is a senior role within the Advanced Analytics team, incorporating responsibilities for line management, thought leadership and team training.

Key Accountabilities:

We are recruiting for a Heath Economics Manager to join our Market Access Group in Europe. We will consider applicants from European countries where we currently have Parexel Offices. You can be home or office based in this role.

The purpose of the role is to manage a team of approximately 8 individuals and lead the development of Parexel's health economic models. We are looking for experienced managers who are also familiar with analyzing cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, to understand the economic value of clients’ products and interventions.

This is a senior role within the modelling team, incorporating responsibilities for line management, thought leadership and team training.

Key Accountabilities in this role will be:

Staff Management

• Manage a team of direct reports, aligning with Parexel’s performance development processes and culture.

Consulting Activities and Relationship Management

• Lead a project team to successfully deliver modelling projects.

• Provide day-to-day project management.

• Drive repeat business through high quality project work.

Project Execution

• Manage a team of analysts to ensure timely delivery of projects to a high standard, managing client communications, and ensuring projects are delivered on budget.

• Provide technical leadership and training to more junior staff within the team, and ensure own skills are up to date.

• Provide support to the senior modelling team in managing aspects of business performance, as required.

Skillset and Experience Required: An ideal candidate must have at least six or more years of experience with R-Shiny data visualization and parametric modelling within the healthcare sector. Familiarity with machine learning and predictive analytics is a plus. Other considerations include:Experience working in a consulting or pharmaceutical organization.  Experience in developing both internal and external consultative relationships with senior management and executives. Willingness to work under pressure to meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.Excellent scientific, business writing, and communication presentation skills with close attention to detail.5+ years’ experience developing economic models including cost-effectiveness and budget impact modelsExperience of programming and software such as SAS, STATA and R is an advantageExtensive experience of project management of modelling projectsExperience of business development activities is an advantage

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or equivalent in either life science or a quantitative discipline, such as health economics, economics, mathematics or statistics
