Job Summary

BASIC SUMMARY:   Provides a basis for management planning, operating controls and financial performance appraisal.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   ⦁    Assists in the analysis of financial data and extracts and defines relevant information; interprets data for the purpose of determining past financial performance and/or to project a financial probability. ⦁    Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data. ⦁    Assists in the development of financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis. ⦁    Records, classifies, and summarizes financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals. ⦁    Helps gather information and assist in preparation of annual strategic plan and operating plans. ⦁    Prepares materials for presentation. ⦁    Applies a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verifies documents for completeness and compliance. ⦁    Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

⦁    Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in Accounting or Finance or related discipline. ⦁    Experience:  Two to four years related experience and/or training. ⦁    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. ⦁    Certification:  None. ⦁    Other:  Excellent spreadsheet skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: ⦁    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to work/type at a computer. ⦁    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: ⦁    General office working conditions. ⦁    The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, and location.

About Corporate Functions  The Corporate Functions provide operational support across Charles River in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, IT, Legal, Sales, Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Corporate Development. They partner with their colleagues across the company to develop and drive strategies and to set global standards.
