The Senior Director, Clinical Operations - Site Management, is responsible to strategize, lead, and manage a region, department or functional team to ensure that PAREXEL delivers quality projects to its clients and achieves agreed revenue margins. The Senior Director is accountable to ensure that appropriate management practices are in place

(e.g., retention and development plans) to retain staff and maintain project and business continuity.

S/he actively promotes new business by participating in project bids and client presentations as appropriate. S/he is working as an experienced leader responsible for liaising with senior levels or management within the organization and to deputize for the Vice President as needed. QualificationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (including experience in making presentations at conferences, meetings, training sessions)A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learningExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsLine Management experience running a regional (EMEA) organization with several management layers containing at least 200++ employees, focusing on site management.Strong computing knowledge including but not limited to the Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), EDC, IWRS, and MS-Office products such as Excel and WordGood experience in leading in a matrix environment and value the importance of teamworkAdvanced ability and demonstrated strength in managing Managers and leading diverse teamsAdvanced ability to successfully manage a full workload across multiple and varied projects/tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detailOutstanding negotiation, influencing and organizational skillsDemonstrable experience of stakeholder/relationship management with a client focused approach to work.Is Able to understand the business implications of decisions and impact on customerAdvanced ability to manage and motivate direct reports and wider team.Knowledge of the International pharmaceutical market and the services required by sales, marketing and operational support to achieve product successAn ability to assess situations and make and carry through difficult decisions Broad therapeutic understanding is key to success and a mandatory requirement
