Provide strategic direction to the client by demonstrating therapy area, competitor and brand understanding and translating it into strategic solutions to clients to address product challenges. Strategically grow the existing accounts and identify new client opportunities in partnership with account managers. Create internal senior level partnerships within the Parexel APAC region and global partnerships with US and UK account teams. Lead, mentor, and coach APAC Scientific Services and Account Management teams to meet client and business needs through performance management, talent assessment, compensation recommendations, and training and development recommendations. Develop, gain approval from senior leadership, and rollout new operational processes for the APAC region. Through a deep understanding of organizational roles and responsibilities facilitate effective team structure and efficient project delivery. Maintain high visibility within the client organizations; cultivate strong, long[1] term relationships with key decision-makers and ensure clients are aware of our full range of capabilities. Identify resource needs in advance and present proposal to Line Manager; resource New Business pitches with close collaboration with global CS team. Ensure client satisfaction by conducting health checks and monitoring team quality; ensuring timely issue resolution and escalation of issues, as needed. Develop APAC account plans to drive NBA and revenue targets, providing commentary and analysis around gaps and opportunities. Qualifications

Skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese would also be an asset Aptitude for financial monitoring and efficient assessment of projects Effective revenue forecasting and management Ability to drive NBA targets, identify gaps in advance, and propose / prospect solutions to fill them Effective project and resource management; proven ability to handle a broad range of clients and/or accounts Well-developed motivational and leadership skills Well-developed presentation skills with a focus on the scientific and strategic considerations of a proposal Knowledge and Experience: Extensive agency and management experience of a scientific team and/or account management team Extensive experience in developing new business proposals, leading the content development and presenting Ideally have experience in setting up a new division. Recruitment, design and establishment of new processes, training, development of pricing models Broad experience in scientific and editorial management and delivery of the key offering and services within MedCom Experience of reviewing, developing, and implementing content development processes and effective working practices Experience of coaching and mentoring less experienced team members in account management and/or medical writing roles Strong client-focused approach to work, ability to relate to key client personnel and KOL/Faculty in an assertive and professional manner, confident handling of difficult scenarios or client dissatisfaction Possess a positive approach to change that encourages innovation and creativity Be willing to challenge and devise new approaches to communication techniques

Education: Degree or higher degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (BSc, BA, PharmD, PhD, MD)
