Full Stack Developer - Healthcare

IQVIA France just created a business unit to develop new AI-based web applications for our customers. With a team strong of 55 persons, with Data Scientists, Health Experts, and Product Managers, we're looking for an Full stack software engineer to bootstrap and develop innovative Health Applications for our B2B customers (pharmaceutical labs, pharmacists, practitioners...). He/she will be part of a newly created squad of 5 (with one front-end engineer, two data scientists, headed by a senior tech lead).

Missions:

The first application that will be developed will help understand the patient's journey through the healthcare system in order to help better diagnose rare diseases and limit long-term misdiagnosis. You'll lay the technical foundations of the application and iterate on it. Expect a lot of coding (80% of the time).

Work closely with the tech lead, product manager, and data scientists to execute it the roadmap.

As a first member of the squad, you'll be part of a lot of decisions regarding hiring, choosing the dev stack, defining the roadmap...

Profile:

At least a first technical experience a challenging environment (e.g. 3/4+ years in a startup)

You love building and operating web applications (think APIs, monitoring, dev-ops)

Strong coding skills in Python, at least some professional experience in Javascript

Good practice of agile methodologies (code reviews, continuous integration, Kanban...)

Willing to be the first employee in a new tech squad, with everything to build

Experience in the health domain is a plus

Technical Environment:

You will have the opportunity to choose the initial technical stack together with the tech lead. Technical skills in the team include:

Data science: pydata stack (scikit-learn, pandas...)

Back-end: Python

Front-end: React, D3js. Other visualization tools such as Qlik, Power BI, Tableau...

Infrastructure: SQL, Hadoop/Spark

Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes...

Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus: RabbitMq / Kafka, Elasticsearch...

Location

Remote work is strongly encouraged during the pandemic. It is possible for two days a week otherwise.
