We are seeking aGlobal Occupational Health Manager for our Corporate site located in Wilmington, MA. The Global Occupational Health Managerwill provide strategic direction and oversight of global occupational health services; manage outsourced vendor relationship, cost and performance; ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements; continually assess policies and programs and drive change as appropriate; collaborate with site leadership, EHS&S, Legal, Risk Management and HR to effectively communicate, implement and administer all occupational health programs. Responsibilities:

The following are responsibilities related to the Global Occupational Health Manager: Develop and oversee occupational health strategy to create and maintain employee wellness, disease prevention and medical monitoring programs to comply with government and non-government accrediting agencies. all Charles River sites Regularly assess market trends, legal and regulatory changes, and the company’s strategic and financial objectives. Partner with internal stakeholders to develop recommendations and obtain approval; lead communication and implementation of changes to ensure we offer compliant, consistent, leading-edge programs and processes that align with the business’s needs and objectives. Manage vendor relationships through clearly defined expectations, roles, deliverables, and budgets; ensure vendor delivers compliant occupational health services consistent with Charles River's business objectives, policies and procedures, including onsite medical treatment for work-related injury/illness, emergency response, medical surveillance, hazard identification and prevention programs, case management, and pre-placement/post-offer/return to work physical exams. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements. Partner with Risk Management, EHS&S, HR, Legal and external vendors to ensure roles, responsibilities and accountability are clearly defined to deliver timely, accurate reporting and management of Workers Compensation claims and return to work procedures/accommodations for work- and non-work-related leaves and disabilities. Partner with business and EHS&S to support successful internal and external audits and inspections. Provide strategic insights and support to all safety, incident, crisis and threat management committees, initiatives and activities. Minimum Requirements:

The following are minimum requirements related to the Global Occupational Health Manager position: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, active RN or NP License Ten (10) years of experience in medical field and a minimum 5 years of Occupational Health experience in corporate setting. Must possess strong vendor management, project management, communication design and delivery, collaboration, and people leadership skills and experience. Requires broad, deep understanding of occupational health safety regulations and protocols Basic knowledge of safety, ergonomics, toxicology, and epidemiology. Strong clinical background and knowledge of medical treatment protocols required. Experience with governmental regulations and community health principles applicable to occupational and environmental health and safety. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to make critical health decisions in emergency situations and day to day decisions dealing with health of employees. Ability to make independent nursing judgments, solve problems. Preferred Qualifications:

The following are preferred qualifications related to the Global Occupational Health Manager position: Master’s degree in Nursing Certified Occupational Health Nurse – C.O.H.N.
