Inclusion Criteria:

  • pregnant women with insulin dependent gestational diabetes mellitus

Exclusion Criteria:

  • chronic inflammatory disease,
  • autoimmune disease,
  • pre-existing diabetes mellitus,
  • previous cesarean section,
  • multiple pregnancies
