Fase 3 randomiseret undersøgelse af TLK286 (Telcyta) versus Doxil/Caelyx eller Hycamtin som tredjelinjebehandling ved platin refraktær eller resistent ovariecancer [ASSIST-1 (vurdering af overlevelse i solide tumorer-1)]

Inklusionskriterier omfatter:

  • Betragtes som platin ildfast eller resistent i henhold til standardkriterier
  • Fremskridt under eller efter afslutning af en andenlinjebehandling med Doxil/Caelyx eller Hycamtin
  • Histologisk eller cytologisk bekræftet diagnose af epitelcancer i æggestokkene, æggelederen eller primær peritoneal cancer
  • Målbar sygdom i henhold til RECIST kriterier med dokumenteret tumorprogression

Ekskluderingskriterier omfatter:

  • Behandling med anden linje kemoterapi end Doxil/Caelyx eller Hycamtin
  • Anamnese med strålebehandling af hele bækkenet inden for 12 måneder efter tilmelding
  • Klinisk signifikant hjertesygdom
  • Bevis på grov hæmaturi på tidspunktet for studiestart
  • Eventuelle tegn på tarmobstruktion, der forstyrrer ernæringen på tidspunktet for studiestart
  • Gravide eller ammende kvinder
