Basic Summary We are seeking a Sample Processing Supervisor for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.

This position is responsible for supervising all activities related to sample receiving, sample login, sample storage, cell bank storage and subcontracted testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate and supervise all daily activities of the receipt processing and distribution of samples including scheduling, as well as cell banks and clinical samples, to ensure effective performance of function. Provide day-to-day supervision of assigned staff, while also providing excellent service to our customers. Coordinate multiple concurrent vendor and government projects in a continually growing facility. Responsible for refinement and development of procedures as needed to meet current industry standards and the subsequent training of personnel who will perform the tasks on a day-to-day basis.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a life science or related discipline. Two to four years of relevant laboratory/GMP/GLP experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Knowledge of cGMPs or regulatory affairs pertaining to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries is required.
