Responsibilities

  • Maintains reference files needed by production database and report development.
  • Develops an understanding of the knowledge needed to maintain reference files.
  • Performs basic research (e.g. internet search, phone calls, source books, etc.) to gather information from third parties that will augment the completeness or accuracy of data solution reference data.
  • Solicits information from other departments to identify when and how to correct inaccurate data, delete data, or add new entries to make the reference files more complete.
  • Receives input to the reference process from other production processes.
  • Compares new data with existing reference data to identify where changes, additions, or deletions should occur.
  • Updates basic reference file(s) and databases. Responds to basic queries on reference data Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise Aid the database team in other initiatives regarding data governance, database maintenance tasks and documentation as required
  • Revenue
  • Some of the revenue generated by this position could be recognized as reporting revenue, as new data can be leveraged for new reports. The remainder would be budgeted as operational.

Required

  • SQL-- 1-2 years
  • MS Office Suite
  • Bachelor's/Associate's Degree
