Tämä tutkimus tutkii, voiko veren merkkiaine mikroribonukleiinihappo (miRNA) 371 ennustaa syövän uusiutumisen mahdollisuutta potilailla, joilla on sukusolusyöpä. Sukusolusyöpäpotilaiden verinäytteiden tutkiminen laboratoriossa voi auttaa lääkäreitä ennustamaan, kuinka todennäköisesti syöpä toipuu.

ENSISIJAINEN TAVOITE:

I. Arvioida positiivinen ennustearvo kussakin varhaisen vaiheen kivesten seminooma- ja ei-seminoomaryhmässä käyttämällä plasman miRNA 371:n ilmentymistä uusiutumisen yhteydessä sukusolujen pahanlaatuisuuden havaitsemiseksi.

TOISIJAISET TAVOITTEET:

I. Pankkii prospektiivisesti saadut sarja nestemäiset bionäytteet pienille ja kohtalaisille uusiutumisriskille potilaille, jotka on merkitty potilastason kliinisillä tiedoilla.

II. Pankkii prospektiivisesti kerätyt, kliinisesti selitetyt näytteet korkean riskin potilaille ja primaarisille potilaille, jotka eivät ole kivestenisiä, yhteistyössä Children's Oncology Groupin tutkimuksen AGCT 1531 kanssa.

YHTEENVETO:

  • Potilaiden on suostuttava toimittamaan vaaditut näytteet määriteltyjä translaatiolääketieteen tutkimuksia varten.   • Potilaille on kerrottava tämän tutkimuksen tutkimusluonteesta, ja heidän on allekirjoitettava ja annettava kirjallinen tietoinen suostumus laitosten ja liittovaltion ohjeiden mukaisesti.
