Responsibilities:

· Design and develop micro-services and applications with a continuous improvement mindset

· Become a technical expert for data related functionality within the platform and a point of reference for the organization

· Design and develop a robust data model and relevant micro-services to meet requirements from Product Owners

· Troubleshoot and improve scalability and performance of the applications and services

· Leads cross-functional product development teams, acting also as a senior consultant to provide system and technical advice.

· Keeps up to date with technology changes and identifies opportunities for implementation in future systems.

· Ensure technical documentation is kept up to date and accurate

· Ensure a high level of unit testing is in place and work with QA to ensure regression tests cover all use cases supported by the data services.

· Ensures high coding standards across the team

· Work with Delivery teams and Clients as required to discuss issues, data models and design / implementation.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Excellent object-oriented design skills

· Expert knowledge of .NET Core

· Comfortable with SQL Server, Snowflake, query tuning/optimization and execution plan analysis

· Knowledge of AWS Resources such as RDS, EKS and S3

· Excellent communication skills and a desire to mentor and impart knowledge to developers on the team

· Takes pride in being the first person to be called on to troubleshoot and fix difficult bugs

· Comfortable with deadline pressure

· Excellent presentation skill
